Juergen Friesenhahn as Casting Coordinator for the EWF 2012
We are happy to welcome again, to the 2012 EWF, Juergen Friesenhahn, the Master Casting Instructor. As Casting Coordinator, he will introduce the casters as well as coordinate and be the moderator for the casting program. He will accompany the English-speaking casters and translate for them into German.

You have the opportunity to participate in a two-day course in the Munich area immediately after the 2012 EWF. An expert team will show you the art of two-handed casting.

Patronage for the 7th EWF to be assumed by the mayor Mr Sepp Kellerer of Fürstenfeldbruck
The 7th International Experience the World of Fly Fishing on 21 and 22 April 2012 is going to take place now for the fourth time at the Event Forum Fürstenfeld in Fürstenfeldbruck.
As the event will bring, like in the previous years, many visitors from home and abroad to Fürstenfeldbruck for a long weekend and therefore contribute to tourism industry in the region, we could win the mayor of Fürstenfeldbruck Mr Sepp Kellerer to take over the patronage for the EWF show.
We are very happy about this new development and would like to thank the town of Fürstenfeldbruck for their support.
Fly Tying Championship for Kids and Youngsters
For the first time as part of the Experience the World of Flyfishing, there will be a fly tying championship for kids and young people, under guidance from Theo Atanassov.
The tying competition will be divided into two age groups
- 12 and younger
- those 13 - 16 years old
We recommend as practice the following four flies. The jury will choose one of these flies for the contest and it must be tied on-site by the participants.
- Pheasant Tail (Nymph)
- Light Cahill (Nymph)
- Red Tag (Dry Fly)
- Buck Caddis (Dry Fly)
All participants will receive a certificate and an appropriate prize.
FFF - Federation of Fly Fishers
Already for the 5th time internationally known members of the Casting Board of Governors of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) will be present at the the EWF to provide certifications, casting demonstrations, and workshops. They will also represent the FFF with a booth at the Experience the World of Flyfishing (EWF) in the outdoor area of the venue by the casting pools.
